Components

Last updated: 26 Oct 2026

The Components tab lists what the package contains and sets its price. It's one table with three parts:

  1. "Guests pay", the package price. See Pricing.
  2. "Included in the price", the items every booking gets.
  3. "Optional extras", items guests can add on top, at your price.

Nothing is saved until you press Save. The notice "Package saved." confirms it.

What a package can contain

Each row is one component: a room, an add-on, a product, a service, or an event ticket. You pick them from your existing catalog, so create the room, product, or service first.

KindStayBundleBooked as
RoomYesNoA stay on the room calendar
Add-onYesNoAn add-on on that stay
ProductYesYesA product line on the order
ServiceYesYesA booking at a time the guest picks
Service add-onYesYesAn add-on on that booking
TicketYesYesA ticket for the event

A bundle can contain products, services and event tickets, for example a concert ticket with a dinner table, or an activity day with a sauna, a guided tour and an evening concert.

  • A ticket in a bundle is the event's cheapest ticket that is valid for the whole event. An event without one can't be added to a bundle.
  • With an event, the bundle takes the event's day: services can only be booked on that day, and the booking page shows the event's date.
  • Without an event, the guest picks one date for the bundle, and each service's time on that day. SERVOS refuses a time on another day.

Rooms

A stay needs exactly one room component. Until it has one, the table says "Add the rooms guests can choose from. A stay needs at least one." Press Add a room and pick an accommodation.

The room is always included and can't be removed or moved to extras. To offer several room types, open the room row and tick more accommodations. With several rooms, the "Chosen by" menu on the row decides who picks:

  • "Guest chooses": the guest picks the room on the booking page.
  • "Smallest that fits": SERVOS books the smallest free room with space for the party, so a couple gets the double and a family of four the apartment.

A package can have only one room component and one ticket component.

Included items and extras

Add item adds a row to "Included in the price". Add extra adds one to "Optional extras". The row's More menu has Move to extras or Move to included, Move up and Move down for the order guests see, and Remove.

Included items cost the guest nothing extra. Extras are added to the total when the guest ticks them, at the price on the row. See Pricing.

Choices for the guest

A row can hold several items of the same kind. Press the item name and tick more items. The row then shows "3 products" (or services, events, add-ons) with one line per item below it.

For everything except rooms, the guest picks one of them on the booking page, under a heading with the component's name and "Choose one.". Before the guest picks, prices are quoted with the cheapest item, so the total shows "From".

Use this for "Dinner: fish or vegetarian", or for "Activity: kayak tour or guided hike".

Quantity

The "Quantity" column says how many of the item each booking gets:

  • "Once per booking"
  • "Per guest"
  • "Per night"
  • "Per guest per night"

A bundle has no nights, so "Per night" counts as one. Not every kind allows every rule:

  • Rooms are always once per booking.
  • Services and tickets are "Once per booking" or "Per guest".
  • A service booked in exclusive mode, like a private sauna, is always "Once per booking", because one booking covers the whole party.

When you add an item, SERVOS suggests a rule from the item itself. An add-on priced per guest per night on its rooms starts as "Per guest per night", for example.

Add-ons

An add-on in a package is booked onto the stay, like breakfast on a normal booking. The list offers the products you've added to an accommodation's Addons, and each only works with the rooms it's added to. If the guest's room doesn't have it, the booking stops with "Breakfast is not offered with Double Room". See Add-ons.

A package stay gets only the add-ons the package lists. Add-ons set to "Included" on the accommodation are not added on top.

Services

A service in a package becomes a booking. The guest picks the time on the booking page from the service's free slots, on any day from check-in to check-out. Until every wanted service has a time, the button reads "Choose a time". The slots follow the service's opening hours and its free resources. See Resources and availability.

With "Per guest", the booking is for the number of guests. With "Once per booking", it's booked for one person, unless the service is exclusive, in which case it's booked for the whole party.

Service add-ons

A service add-on, like a bath robe with the sauna, is booked onto the booking of a service in the package. The list only offers the products that a service in the package sells as optional under the service's add-ons, so add the service first. Add-ons a service includes by itself are added to every booking as usual and aren't listed.

Put a service add-on under "Included in the price" or "Optional extras". With "Per guest", every guest gets one; with "Once per booking", the party gets one. Its normal price is the price the service charges for it under the service's add-ons. If the service is an extra the guest doesn't tick, a package that includes its add-on can't be booked: "Add Sauna first".

On the order, each add-on unit is its own line on the guest's booking, at its share of the package price and with the add-on's own VAT.

Tickets

A ticket component holds events, not ticket types. SERVOS picks the event's ticket type that runs within the stay. If one runs exactly from check-in to check-out, that one wins, otherwise the earliest. If no ticket type falls within the stay, the booking stops with "Christmas Market does not run on these dates". If there aren't enough tickets left, it says the event "is full on these dates".

Changing a package that has sales

You can change components at any time. Existing bookings keep what they booked. An item that is in a guest's cart or on an order can't be removed from its component: saving fails with "Double Room is in a cart or an order, so it stays".
