Add-ons are extras attached to a stay: breakfast, parking, a late check-out. Each one is a product you offer on an accommodation. An add-on is either included in every stay of that accommodation, or optional, for guests to add when they book online. Staff can't add one to an existing stay yet.
Offering a product as an add-on
Open the accommodation, press Addons in its sidebar, then Add Addon. Only products with a single fixed price and no options are listed. Pick one and fill in:

"Type":
- "Included" ("Automatically included in stay"): every new stay on this accommodation gets the add-on, at no extra charge on the order. Its cost is assumed to sit inside the room rate. Use it for breakfast-included rates and the like.
- "Optional" ("Guest can choose to add this"), the default: guests can add it to their stay on the booking site, and it's charged on the order.

"Pricing":
- "Per stay": charged once per booking.
- "Per guest": charged once for each guest.
- "Per guest per night": charged for each guest on every night. A 100 kr breakfast for two guests on three nights is 600 kr.
Adults and children count as guests; infants don't.

"Price for this accommodation": leave it empty to use the product's price.
The add-on is taxed at the product's tax group.
Where add-ons show up
Included add-ons appear on the stay page in an "Add-ons" row and on the order as part of the stay's card, at zero price. They're added when the stay is created, whether it was booked at the desk, online, or through a booking site, and again if the stay is moved or extended. Optional add-ons a guest chose appear on the stay and the order at their price.
To stop offering an add-on, remove it from the accommodation or archive the product. Setting the product to Draft doesn't stop it. New stays stop getting it; existing stays keep theirs. An add-on also stops if its product gets an open price or options.
Common questions
A guest wants to add breakfast to an existing booking. Add it as a product or open-price line on the order instead (edit the order from its More menu), since add-ons can't be attached to a stay after booking.
How do I sell parking as an optional extra? Create a parking product with a fixed price, then add it to the accommodation as an "Optional" add-on with the pricing you want.
Why is the add-on free on the order? It's an "Included" add-on. Its price is part of the room rate by design. Set the base rate to cover it.
