Overview

A package sells several things as one product at one price. "Ski weekend" could be two nights in a double room, dinner on the first evening, a sauna session at a time the guest picks, and a lift pass. The guest books it in one go on your booking site. SERVOS then books each part as a normal stay, booking, ticket, or product line, so the room shows on the calendar, the sauna on the bookings calendar, and the ticket on the event.

You manage packages under Packages in the sidebar.

Stay or bundle

Every package is one of two types, picked when you create it:

  • "Stay" is built around a room. Guests pick dates and book nights. A stay can include rooms, add-ons, products, services, and event tickets.
  • "Bundle" is a set of products, services and event tickets sold together, with no stay. Guests pick the number of guests and a time for each service. A bundle with an event takes the event's day.

You can't change the type later.

When to use a package

Use a package when you want to sell a fixed combination at its own price, or with its own rules: a minimum of two nights, arrival on Fridays only, sold only in winter. For a single extra on a room, like breakfast, an add-on on the accommodation is simpler.

Packages are sold on your booking site, through the storefront API, and from the POS register. Staff can't add a package from the order editor.
