New behind the desk? These six things cover most of a shift. Each takes a couple of minutes to read, and every screen mentioned links to a longer guide for when you need the whole story.
1. Find a booking
Stays under Accommodations in the sidebar. Search by the guest's name, email, or confirmation code. The badge on each stay says what's going on: "Arriving today", "In-house", "No-show". Filters and the timeline view are in Bookings.
2. Check a guest in (and out)
From the stay page, the timeline, or the stay preview, press Check in. If SERVOS asks you to confirm something first, an uncleaned room, missing guest registration, an unpaid bill at check-out, it is telling you, not stopping you. What each warning means is in Check-in and check-out.
3. Register guests
Every person staying the night goes in the guest register. Most guests do it themselves before arrival through the guest portal. The "Guests" card on the stay shows progress like "2 of 4 added", and you add whoever is missing at the desk. The whole flow is in Guest registration.
4. Sell something
POS in the sidebar. Tap items into the cart, a coffee, event tickets, a room for tonight, and press Checkout. Card on the terminal, a payment link by email, or Mark as unpaid to settle later. Start with Selling at the counter, then Checkout and payments.
5. Take a payment on an existing booking
Open the order (every stay links to its order) and use its "Payment history" section. Charge a terminal, send a payment request, or record cash and bank transfers as external payments. Refunds live in the same place. See Payments and refunds.
6. When you're stuck
Press the Help in the top-right corner and ask in your own words, in any language. Answers come from these guides, with sources. For everything about rooms, from housekeeping statuses to room moves on the timeline, start at the Accommodations overview.
