Selling at the counter

Last updated: 26 Oct 2026

The POS (POS in the sidebar) is the front-desk register: a catalog on the left, the cart on the right, and a checkout that takes seconds. One cart can mix anything you sell. A room, event tickets, a booking, products, passes, and packages all go on the same order.

The catalog

Six tabs across the top, Accommodations, Events, Products, Services, Passes, Packages, each adding to the cart in its own way:

  • Accommodations: pick the dates with the date picker at the bottom first; each card shows how many rooms are free. Opening one lets you select rooms and set adults, children, and infants. Selecting several rooms books them all in one go.
  • Events: pick ticket quantities per ticket type. Sold-out and not-on-sale types are marked.
  • Services: make a booking. Choose a variant, optionally a specific staff member (or "Any available"), then a date and time slot.
  • Products: tap to add. Products with several variants open a quantity dialog, and open-price products ask for the price. The first tile, Open price, is for anything not in your catalog: name, price, tax group, quantity. Good for one-off charges.
  • Passes: tap to add a pass to the sale.
  • Packages: every package that isn't a draft. Opening one asks for the dates (stays only) and the number of guests, then shows the price or why it can't be sold, like "At least 2 nights". The booking site's rules apply. SERVOS picks the room, and the package's extras aren't offered. A package whose service needs a time is greyed out; sell it from the booking site.

The cart

Items group by kind, with steppers to change quantities (guests for a stay, participants for a booking). A package shows as one row with its parts listed under it; removing it removes the whole package, and its parts can't be changed or selected one by one. Stepping a quantity to zero removes the item, and the Clear icon in the header clears the whole cart. Tapping rows selects them, which matters for discounts. See Checkout and payments.

Customers and walk-ins

Assign customer opens the customer search. You can also create a new customer on the spot, which attaches them to the cart. No customer is needed for a quick product sale. The order is recorded against a walk-in guest, who gets no emails.

A customer is required as soon as the cart holds a stay, tickets, an booking, or a pass. Those need someone to belong to, and checkout sends you to the customer screen if one is missing.

Several sales at once

Press the New in the left rail to start a fresh cart at any time. The current one stays open, unpaid and untouched. Carts in the rail lists every open cart with its customer, total, and who started it; tap one to resume it. The badge on Carts shows how many are open. That's the whole park-and-resume flow. Nothing to save, nothing to lose.

Common questions

Is there a search or barcode scanner? No. The catalog is built for tapping. Products can be narrowed with the collection pills; keep your catalog names short and distinct and the grid stays fast.

Can I add a note to an item? Not on cart items. For one-off charges, the "Open price" tile takes a name and description. For context after the sale, add a comment on the order.

I started a cart on another device. Carts shows every open cart in the organization, whoever started it and wherever. Tap to pick it up.
