Analytics shows how the business is doing over a period: occupancy, rates, revenue, cancellations, lead time, and how guests spread across your offerings. It is for owners and admins; other roles see the menu item greyed out. Pick a date range and a comparison at the top, and every card shows the value for the period and the change against the comparison.
The metrics
Hover a card's title for its definition. In order:
- "Occupancy Rate": sold room nights as a share of available room nights: for each night, your active rooms, less rooms blocked that night. Rooms of an accommodation you have archived, and rooms you have deleted, still count for the nights before. Setting a room inactive takes it out of every night, past ones included. Unpaid stays count; cancelled ones don't.
- "Average Daily Rate": stay revenue per sold room night.
- "Revenue per Guest": order revenue per identified customer with an order.
- "Avg. Length of Stay": nights per stay, for stays checking in during the period.
- "Cancellation Rate": share of stays cancelled. Lower is better, so a fall shows green.
- "Avg. Lead Time": days between booking and check-in.
- "Booking Pace": new bookings per day.
- "RevPAR": stay revenue per available room, occupancy and rate in one number.
- "Cross-sell Rate": share of customers buying across two or more categories (accommodation, events, services, products).
- "Revenue on the Books": booked room revenue falling in the period, each stay spread evenly over its nights.
Organizations without accommodations see only "Revenue per Guest" and "Cross-sell Rate".
Breakdowns
Below the metrics: "Revenue by Channel" (stay revenue by the channel each stay was sold through: "Direct", "POS", and each booking site), "Occupancy by Day of Week", "Length of Stay Distribution", and "Consumption by Product Type" (accommodations, events, services).
Dates and comparisons
The range picker offers "Today", "Yesterday", last 7, 30, and 90 days, last week, month, quarter, and year, "This week" through "This year", the last eight quarters, and a custom range. With no choice made, it shows the current month to date. "Period to date" presets run to the end of the period, so "This month" on the 20th shows the whole month's range with data only up to today.
Comparisons: "Previous period" (the same number of days immediately before), "Previous year" (the same dates a year earlier), "Custom", or none. The arrow on each card shows direction; its colour says whether that's good.
Money is shown in your organization's currency; there is no conversion.
Common questions
Occupancy here and on the Reports page don't match. They pick stays differently, and the report leaves out accommodations you have since archived, which Analytics still counts for the nights before you archived them. Analytics counts every night in the period, whenever the stay arrived. The occupancy report counts only stays arriving in the period, and only their nights inside it, so a stay that arrived before the period is in Analytics but not in the report. Use Reports for statutory reporting and Analytics for trends.
Can I export this? Not from Analytics. The Reports page exports spreadsheets; see Reports and exports.
Why does a card show no change? No comparison is selected, or both periods are zero.
