The guest portal at guest.servos.dk is where your guests see their bookings, register for their stay before arrival, keep their event tickets and QR codes, download receipts, and choose who may email them news and offers. Guests can't pay, cancel, or change a booking there, so those requests always come to you.
How guests sign in
There is no account to create and no password. A guest enters their email address and receives a six-character code, letters and digits, valid for 15 minutes. Entering it signs them in for 30 days. Only email addresses that already belong to a booking can sign in. The code email comes from SERVOS, not from your organization, which is worth saying when a guest can't find it.
Most guests never type anything. The emails SERVOS sends contain one-click sign-in links. The booking confirmation's link works for a week; the pre-arrival registration link works until the stay's check-out day.
One portal covers every property running on SERVOS. A guest who has stayed at several sees all their bookings in one place, each labeled with the property's name.
What guests see
- "Bookings": upcoming and past stays, bookings, and event tickets. A stay shows check-in and check-out times, an Add to calendar button, the confirmation code, the room description, the cancellation policy, and your contact details.
- A package the guest booked shows as one card instead of its stay, bookings and tickets. Its page shows "Your trip" day by day, and each part opens its own stay, booking or ticket page. Under it are "What's included", your package message, the cancellation terms, and the order. While guests are missing from the register, the page asks for them. Someone registered on a package stay they didn't book sees only the stay.
- The "Guests" tab on a stay is pre-arrival registration. The booker adds each occupant until the badge reads "Ready for check-in". Only the booker can add or edit guests; someone merely registered on the stay can view the stay but not the register or the order. See Guest registration.
- Tickets: one card per ticket with its QR code, status, and "Add to calendar". See Selling tickets.
- "Orders": line items, totals, payment status, receipt downloads, and the billing address, which the guest can edit.
- "Profile": their own name, phone, and billing details. These stay in the portal; they don't change what the front desk sees.
- "Marketing emails" under "Profile": one switch per place the guest has booked with or stayed at. Switching one on or off records or withdraws their marketing consent on that place's customer, which you see on the customer page. A guest who was only registered on someone else's stay becomes your customer when they switch it on.
What guests can't do
No payments, no cancellations, no date changes. Payment status is display-only, so a guest seeing "Unpaid" can't settle it in the portal. Point them to your desk or send a payment link from the order. Cancellation and change requests likewise land with you.
The emails that point guests here
- Booking confirmation, which includes the sign-in link to their order.
- Pre-arrival registration request ("Your stay at … is coming up"), sent a few days before arrival for direct bookings.
- "Anna added you to a stay", sent to other adults registered with an email address, so they can see the stay themselves.
A guest who lost their email can always sign in at guest.servos.dk with the email address they booked with.
Common questions
A guest can't sign in. The portal only knows the email address on the booking. Check what's on the customer, and remember codes expire after 15 minutes. The links in their emails sign them in without any code.
The portal shows their order as unpaid. Can they pay there? No. Send a payment request from the order instead. That link takes card payment.
The guest wants their company on the receipt. Add the company name and tax id to the customer in the app. The receipt reads them from there. What a guest types under "Profile" in the portal doesn't reach the receipt.
